Walter Tanck (Hamburg 1894 - Hamburg 1954) - Artist
Hamburg Painter and graphic artist. T. studied at the Hamburg school of applied arts under A. Illies. T. was influenced by F. Nölkens reception of Matisse. In Paris he was among the circle of the Café du Dome. He exhibited among others in the Flechtheim gallery together with Klee and Lehmbruck.
