Roger Godchaux (Vendôme, 1878 - Paris 1958) - Sell & Buy
Godchaux counts among the great animal sculptors of the 1st half of the 20th century, the so-called 'Animaliers'. After his studies at the École des Beaux Arts in Paris, he specialized in animal sculptures under the influence of the animal bronzes of Antoine-Louis Barye. From 1905 he exhibited regularly in the Salon of French artists. In 1925 he won the silver medal at the "Exposition internationale des Arts décoratifs et industriels modernes".
