Ernst Dietrich Wilhelm Willers (Oldenburg 1803 - München 1880) - Sell & Buy
German landscape painter. After training as a painter, W. worked for the decorative painter Ludwig Pose while simultaneously studying at the Düsseldorf Academy under Peter Cornelius, and later under J. H. C. Dahl in Dresden and Carl Rottmann in Munich. From 1835 to 1861, he lived in Rome and traveled to Greece from there. In 1864, he settled in Munich.
