List of Artists Harald Christian Nielsen

Harald Christian Nielsen (Bårse, Dänemark 1892 - Hellerup, Dänemark 1977) - Sell & Buy

Danish silversmith, was associated with the Georg Jensen silversmiths throughout his life, first as an apprentice, then as a designer and finally as artistic director from 1958 to 1962. As Georg Jensen's most trusted colleague, he continued his life's work after his death. Nielsen was not only a masterful designer himself, but was also responsible for the smooth transition from the ‘first’ generation of company designers, Georg Jensen and Johan Rohde, to the next generation and knew how to maintain the high standards of craftsmanship and design creativity
