Belgian painter, draughtsman a. graphic artist, started studying in Atwerp but moved to Amsterdam to continue his studies at the local academy under J. J. Aarts 1915-16, began his career as woodcutter to the renovation of which he contributed significantly after WW I, received influences by F. Masereel, R. Dufy a. H.
