Figure: H. 32 cm, marble base: H. 5 cm. - English painter and sculptor of German-jewish descent, studied under Alphonse Legros and John Macallan Swan at the Slade School of Fine Art in London, regular exhibitions with the Royal Academy and the New English Art Club, worked and lived in Bradford from 1891 until his death.
