Oil/canvas, 64 x 50 cm, lo. le. sign. Suzanne Eisendieck, small pigment losses. - French figure a. landscape painter of German origin. E. studied 1927-29 in Berlin under M. Klewer a. exhibited in Berlin as well as in the Salon des Indépendants in Paris as early as 1929. In 1932 she moved to Paris where she married the paitner Dietz Edzard in 1938. Their works are similar in subjects a. style, they often show the leisurely life of elegant young ladies; the influence of Renoir can't be denied.
