Japan, Meiji-period (1868-1912). Stoneware with ivory-coloured craquelé-glaze and fine polychrome painting, partly with gold decoration. Bellied vase with thickened mouth. At the wall a revolving decoration with vertical bamboo trees. Among them flying phoenix-birds. Foot and mouth with delicate gold border. Gold sign. "Kinkozan Tsukoro" and blind embossing. H. 22 cm.
