China, 15th cent. (Ming-dynasty 1368-1644). Porcelain with blue painting and white-grey glaze. In the centre a large peony-flower in a double circle. At the rim 4 branches with various fruits. Verso at the rim a revolving garland with pomegranate-flowers. Above six-character Xuande-mark. The bottom unglazed. Fissure and small chips at the rim. Diam. 26 cm.
