1968. Etching. 15 x 15 cm. Unframed. Low right handsigned and dated Dorazio 68, low left numbered 68/150. From the portfolio 'Kölner Kunstmarkt 1968' - Italian painter, stage designer, ceramist and art writer, one of the leading abstract painters of his country. D. was artistically active at an early age, but he broke off a study of architecture in 1951. Even before he was able to study in Paris in 1948 with a scholarship from the French government, he was well connected in the art scene in Italy and France, co-founder of artists' groups and co-author of artistic programs. In 1953/54 he was also in Harvard and New York and made many contacts there as well, becoming a professor in Baltimore in 1963. Later he was also active in Düsseldorf and Berlin. His works were repeatedly exhibited at the Documenta. Vita:
