Late 19th cent. Crystal, silver, mother-of-pearl. Marks: crescent moon and crown, 925, company hallmark KÜHN. H. 17 cm, overall diameter: 15 cm, crystal bowl diameter: 12 cm, cutlery: L.12-17,5 cm. Silver filigree holder with three seahorses on three faceted crystal balls, supporting the crystal lid container with silver seahorse knob. Includes mother-of-pearl cutlery with seahorse handles and nine mother-of-pearl spoons - The silversmith's workshop was founded in Schwäbisch Gmünd in 1860 by goldsmith Johann Stanislaus Nepomuk Kühn. His sons Emil and Gustav continued running the silverware factory in 1886 under the name Gebrüder Kühn.

Vita:
The silversmith's workshop was founded in Schwäbisch Gmünd in 1860 by goldsmith Johann Stanislaus Nepomuk Kühn. His sons Emil and Gustav continued running the silverware factory in 1886 under the name Gebrüder Kühn.
