Z. is considered one of the pioneers of street art and became known for his figures 'Éphémères' - the Transient Ones. Marked by his childhood as a jewish boy during World War II, his work is deeply influenced by themes of war and fascism. He was a student of Yves Klein and participated in the 3rd Biennale de Paris in 1963. His works are to be found in the citys of Paris, Berlin, Ulm, Prag and Johannesburg.
