B. studied at the art school in Bremen and at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Berlin from 1960-65. The defining theme of his work from the end of the 60s became the female body. He repeatedly took his motifs from advertising and commercial art and designed them in his typical style. He reduced them to an extreme level of detail and combined them into large areas, often in primary colors. He reinforced the striking impression with black contours. Mus.: Köln (Mus.
