Relined to the margins. - Expertise: Fred Meijer, Amsterdam has identified the painting as characteristic work of Jan van Huchtenburg - Dutch battle painter, student of Thomas Wyck. After a stay in Paris at the Gobelin manufactory, he worked in Haarlem. From 1708 he was a battle chronicler in the service of the Austrian field marshal Prince Eugene, later he worked at the court of Elector Johann Wilhelm von der Pfalz, last in The Hague.
