1923. Oil/canvas/cardboard. 60 x 91 cm. Lo. le. sign. and dat. Adolf Bock 1923. - German Marine and veduta painter. B. was pupil of H. Bohrdt, thereafter he studied at the Berlin academy with a scholarship granted by the emperor. Since 1919 he lived and worked in Finland. He was among the few surviving passengers of the shipwreck of the Wilhelm Gustloff in 1945. Mus.: Berlin, Stockholm. Lit.: Vollmer.
