1965. Oil/canvas. 40,5 x 60,5 cm. Lo. ri. sign. and dat. H. W. Spitzmann 65. - German marine painter. S. went to sea and began in the 1950s as a self-taught marine painter. Soon he was able to sell to captains and shipowners. Since the 1970s, he also exhibited regularly, among others at the Museumsberg Flensburg and the Schiffahrtsmuseum Bremerhaven.
