Oil/wood, 45 x 57 cm, lo. ri. sign. Meyboden. - German painter. M. studied 1919-23 at the Dresden Academy, finally as a master student of O. Kokoschka. After a trip to the U.S. in 1924, he received a master studio at the Berlin Akademie in 1929 through the mediation of Liebermann. As a result of the exhibition ban, he retired to Fischerhude in 1935.
