Meissen, c. 1740. Balusterform with relief-decoration and vivid dolphin-handles. Beneath small flowers at the shoulder the coat of arms at the fromt. Base rest. H. 9 cm. - The Earl Johann Christian von Hennicke (1681-1752) was under the Earl Brühl vice-director since 1739 and the actual head of Meissen. - Compare to a saucer from this service in: Rückert, Meissener Porzellan, Munic 1966, p. 113, pic. 473.
