Henry Heerup (Kopenhagen 1907 - Kopenhagen 1993) - Sell & Buy
Danish sculptor, painter and composer, since 1949 member of the artist group 'Cobra', received his education at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, debuted in the 1930s with recycled art, assemblages from scrap and waste of all kinds as well as sculptures made of granite, became known mainly for his colour-intensive and expressive lithographs with themes from the world of Danish myths and folk tales.
