Eugen Krüger (Altona 1832 - Düsternbrook 1876) - Artist


German animal and landscape painter. After training as a lithographer in Altona, he studied in Vienna with F. J. Sandmann and L. Gurlitt and in Düsseldorf with C. A. Schreyer and T. Schmitson. From the end of the 1850s he lived in Hamburg and was a member of the local artists' association. Travels took him to England, Scotland, France, Italy and Switzerland.
