Jakob Steinhardt (Zerkow/Posen 1887 - Naharija/Israel 1968) - Sell & Buy
German-Israeli landscape and portrait painter. S. studied from 1906 in Berlin, among others with L. Corinth, then in Paris with Matisse. Together with L. Meidner he exhibited in Herwarth Walden's gallery 'Der Sturm' in Berlin in 1913. In 1933 he emigrated with his family to Jerusalem. Mus.: Berlin (Jüdisches Museum). Lit.: Thieme-Becker, Vollmer.
