Holger Drachmann (Kopenhagen 1846 - Hornbaek 1908) - Sell & Buy
Danish painter and poet. D. studied marine painting at the Copenhagen academy under V. Marstrand 1866-70, but soon after turned to journalism and poetry. He first visited the Skagen artist's colony in 1871, in 1903 he finally settled there. Mus.: Kopenhagen, Skagen, Ribe, Roenne. Lit.: AKL, Thieme-Becker, Weilbach, Der Neue Rump.
