Northern Irish artist. She graduated from the University of Ulster in 1985 an din 2006 D. was awarded the Gold Medal by the Royal Ulster Academy of Arts. In her work - which rangesf rom paintings and sculptures to large-scale installations - she addresses Irish history and contemporary politics in a humorous and socially critical manner.
