Italian artist and designer, studied architecture at the Academia Brera in Milan and at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, set up a workshop in Milan in the 1870s, where his first verifiable furniture creations were made, exhibited internationally from 1888, exhibited at the world exhibition in Paris in 1900.
