Finnish designer, received the State Prize for Industrial Design in 1976 and is recognized as a designer both in Finland and internationally. He was chief designer for Auran Kultasepät from 1971-1989 and was named Goldsmith of the Year by the Finnish Goldsmiths' Association in 2002
