Theo van Doesburg (Utrecht 1883 - Davos 1931) - Sell & Buy
Dutch avant-garde artist and art theorist, one of the pioneers of abstract painting, Dada and Concrete Art. D. studied painting and taught at the Weimar Bauhaus in 1921/22. Already in 1917 he had founded the artist movement 'De Stijl' with Piet Mondrian and others. He was one of the main protagonists of Dada until this movement came to an end in 1923.
