Heinrich Neuy (Kevelaer 1911 - 2003) - Sell & Buy
German painter and draftsman. From 1930-1932 N. studied at the Bauhaus in Dessau. He studied under Wassily Kandinsky, Mies van der Rohe and Josef Albers, among others. Before that he had completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter and wood sculptor at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Krefeld. In 1970 he became a member of the Welbergener Kreis and in 1991 he received the culture prize of the city of Steinfurt, followed in 1996 by the culture prize of the district of Steinfurt. His work is honored today in the Heinrich Neuy Bauhaus Museum in Borghorst/Steinfurt. Mus.: Heinrich Neuy Bauhaus Museum
