Mehmet Ruhi Arel (Istanbul 1880 - Istanbul 1931) - Sell & Buy
Turkish painter. A. first attended the naval school in Heybeliada and entered the Istanbul art school in 1905. With the help of a scholarship, A. was able to continue his studies 1910-14 at the École des Beaux Arts in Paris under F. Cormon. Later he became a professor at the Istanbul Academy.
