Joseph Ulrich Danhauser (Wien 1780 - Wien 1829) - Sell & Buy
Furniture manufacturer of the Biedermeier period in Vienna. After training as a sculptor, Danhauser founded the 'Etablissement für alle Gegenstände des Ameublements' in 1804, where furniture and arts and crafts were produced according to his own designs. He is regarded as the inventor of the so-called 'wood bronze', which served as a decoration for furniture and accessories and enjoyed great demand as an inexpensive variant of bronze.
