Dieter Gerbeth (Leipzig 1931) - Sell & Buy
German painter. G. trained after the war as a sign painter and studied 1954-59 at the Hochschule für Graphik und Buchkunst in Leipzig with W. Tübke and B. Heisig. From 1960 he worked as a freelance artist in Berlin. His objective-constructive style was formed less on the model of his Leipzig teachers and more in confrontation with G. Schrimpf and A. Kanoldt.
