Austrian painter. H. studied at the Vienna Academy under P. von Gütersloh 1945-50. Together with R. Hausner et al. H. was one of the co-founders of the Viennese School of Fantastic Realism. 1974-97 H. was professor at the Vienna Academy of Applied Arts. Lit.: Vollmer.
