Lajos Kassák (Érsekújvár 1887 - Budapest 1967) - Sell & Buy

Hungarian painter and writer. After apprenticeship as locksmith K. lived in Paris 1907-10 where he met among others Picasso, Delaunay and Apollinaire. He edited avantgardist magazines in Budapest since 1912 where artists like Archipenko, Schwitters, Schlemmer and Moholy-Nagy published. In 1921 he began constructivist painting.
