Theodor Kuchel (Altona 1819 - Altona 1885) - Sell & Buy
German landscape and portrait painter. After an apprenticeship as a painter, K. continued his education autodidactically. After study trips to the Alps, he settled in Altona. He developed a significant teaching career, his students included his nephew Friedrich Kallmorgen and the Empress Auguste Victoria.
