Installation and concept artist, currently living in Berlin and Copenhagen. In his work Eliasson enganges with different phenomena of nature and perception as well as the connection between these. Thereby he refers to social constructs and problems by inviting the visitor to an active participation and critical questioning of traditional structures in his artwork. His works have been exhibited internationally in renowned Museums, for example, the Turbine Hall, Tate Modern, London; Moderna Museet Stockholm, Fondation Louis Vuitton, Paris; the Guggenheim, Bilbao, Kunsthaus Zürich; Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo and the Fondation Beyeler, Basel amongst others.
