Oscar Adolfovich Hoffmann (Dorpat 1851 - St. Petersburg 1912) - Sell & Buy
Estonian painter. H. studied at the Düsseldorf academy under E. Gebhardt and E. Dücker since 1871. In 1882 he moved to St. Petersburg. He mostly painted landscapes and people of his Estonian homeland. He was awarded a medal at the 1889 Paris World's Fair. Lit.: Thieme-Becker, Bénézit.
