Georges Bareau (Paimboeuf Loire-Atlantique 1866 - Nantes 1931) - Sell & Buy
French sculptor, studied at the École des Art Décoratifs and École des Beaux Arts in Paris and was a pupil of Ch. Gautier and J. Thomas. From 1889 he exhibited regularly at the Salon and won a gold medal at the 1900 Exposition Universelle in Paris. Mus.: Nantes, Musée des Beaux Arts; Paris, Musée d'Art Moderne, Musée du Petit Palais.
