Painter, draughtsman, graphic artist and furniture designer of Italian origin. C. grew up in Munich where he attended an art school. After his family moved to Zurich in 1914 he studied painting, graphic arts, bookbinding and furniture design. After 1922 he moved to London where he mainly worked as commercial artist. Lit.: AKL u.a.
