Manfred Lindemann-Frommel (München 1852 - Regensburg 1939) - Sell & Buy
German landscape and marine painter, son of the landscape painter Karl. L.-F. The artist studied between 1875 and 1883 at the academies of Munich and Karlsruhe, among others with A. Lier, G. Schönleber and H. Baisch. In 1895 he exhibited at the Great Berlin Art Exhibition. From 1896-1926 he lived in Laboe and Kiel, then settled in Regensburg. He received numerous public commissions, including murals for the town halls in Mainz, Cologne and Königsberg. Mus.: Mainz. Lit.: Thieme-Becker.
