German painter a. graphic artist. After being trained as radio doctor T. studied 1949-50 at he Leipzig Kunstgewerbeschule. He worked as freelancer before studying again 1956-60 as pupil of E. Schumacher at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Berlin. Since 1980 he was teacher at the Hochschule für Graphik u. Buchkunst in Leipzig. Mus.: Leipzig, Altenburg, Augsburg, Frankfurt/O.
