Chinese painter. Z. studied 1995-2003 at the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou, one of the most renowned art academies of the country. Until 2006 he lived in Shanhai, in 2010 he moved to Berlin. The artist often refers to Chinese history, one of his central themes is the rapid change of the country during the 20th cent. a. in the present age.
