Victor Alfred Paul Vignon (Villers-Cotterêts 1847 - Meulan 1909) - Sell & Buy
French impressionist, his mother had a hotel which was frescoed by Puvis des Chavanne between 1850 and 1860, V. was pupil of C. Corot a. A.-F. Cals, 1878-80 he painted together with P. Cezanne, C. Pissarro u. A. Guillaumin in Auvers-sur-Oise, in 1900 exhibited at the Paris World's Fair, towards the end of his life he went blind. Mus.: Paris (Louvre, Musée d'Orsay), Reims, Bremen, Saarbrücken.
