Meissen, designed 1899 based on motifs by the French illustrator Maurice Sand, made soon after. Porcelain. Crossed swords mark, model no. 'S 124'. Min. prof. rest. H. 14,5 cm. - Modeller, studied at the Industrial School in Nördlingen and worked from 1856 until 1904 for the Meissen Manufactory where he designed numerous figures in rococo style as well as bird groups and dogs.
