Kritischer Katalog der Gemälde, Zeichnungen und Druckgraphik, Lingen 2018, cat. no. 286, p. 232s and p. 373. - Provenance: Private collection Niedersachsen. - Flemish landscape and figure painter. S. became master of the Antwerp St. Lukes guild in 1609, its deacon in 1618. He was in London in 1633 a. worked again in Antwerp thereafter. Sometimes he collaborated with P.
