Paris, early 19th cent. Model probably Jean-Simon Deverberie (1764-1824). Bronze, fire gilded, engraved, polished. White enamel dial, black roman and arab. numerals, Breguet hands, labelled 'à Paris'. Case with blue and golden cabochon friezes. Splendour pendulum with butterfly ornaments. Small round pendule movement, count wheel striking mechanism on bell for half and full hour, thread suspension. Wire added.
