Oil/canvas, 50 x 67 cm, min. rest., relined. - Italian painter, one of the most important precursors of veduta painting. Since 1620 worked in Rome where he got in touch with Claude Lorrain and Michelangelo Cerquozzi. In 1634 he settled in Naples and specialized in painted illusions of architecture.
