Around 1925. Bronze, gilt and partially red lustre, partially carved ivory, sign. on the plinth 'Peleschka-Lunard.', foundry mark 'RM' by Rosenthal & Maeder, Berlin, red-brown veined marble base. Overall height 22 cm. - Austrian sculptor, studied at the Academy in Vienna by Edmund von Hellmer and was in the meantime active in Berlin. Known especially for his small Art deco sculptures in bronze, ivory and alabaster or combinated figures in 'chryselephantine technique'.
