Japan, Meiji period (1868-1912). With brilliant coloring continous decor of hyacinths blossoms and their long, streaky leaves. At the bottom underglazed blue sign. Wooden cover lost. H. 8,5 cm, diam. 15 cm. - One of the most distinguished potters working in Japan during the Meiji era (1868-1912).Kozan's innovative and brilliant ceramics won him many prizes at exhibitions at home and abroad.
