Meissen, the model from 1904, formed midth 20th. Slight polychrome paint. Model's no. 'V 107 b', impressed '149', crossed swords mark. H. 14 cm. - German sculptor and modeller. Studies at the Dresden Academy, 1899 - 1903 teacher at the Kassel Academy, 1909 - 1929 at the Meissen manufactory, since 1912 as a creative director. Hösel ranks among the most productives designers of the Meissen manufactory and created numerous animals, figures of children and indianes, portrait and genre figures.
