Copenhagen, around 1930. Silver, stamped 'Denmark Sterling 925.S', mm.: 'Georg Jensen' in dotted oval (around 1930), mm.: 'JR' and '6'. Design by Johan Rhode from 1912 for Georg Jensen. Model no. '17A'. On an oval, stepped base, pierced foot with lancet leaf and pearl decor. Bowl corpus with martele decor. H. 13,3 cm, weight approx. 415 g. (Comp. Janet Drucker: Georg Jensen. A tradition of splendid silver, p. 215 and p. 307) - Danisch painter a. designer. Initially pupil of C. F. Andersen R. studied since 1882 at the Copenhagen academy under F.
