H., 1976, ill. 78 - German painter a. sculptor. H. made an apprenticeship as goldsmith 1948-52. With a scholarship he could travel to Paris in 1952/53 where he was pupil of A. Lhote a. F. Léger. Thereafter he studied until 1955 at the Berlin Hochschule für Bildende Künste under M. Kaus a. H. Kuhn. Since 1962 he worked a. lived in Paris, in 1966 he settled in Bad Honnef. H.s achievements were honoured with the Schleswig-Holsteinischer Kunstpreis a. the Bundesverdienstkreuz.
